New Delivery Bag Supplier
Our current supplier of delivery bags ‘Bollmor’ have become very frustrating to deal with so I have sourced a new supplier called ICF.
They have our logo so no need to pay any set up charge when ordering from them. They also have a 7-10 working day turnaround which is considerably quicker than our current supplier. New Look Website
After months of work to ensure that the detail is correct and all links function as required, Look Local is pleased to announce the new look and operation of their web site.
The Main Changes;
The site has a clean, sharp and fresh look. Clients can now select the different products and get an instant on screen quote for their requirements and make secure online payments.
A new design home page with main tags. ‘Advertise with us’ where the client can see information on how to advertise in our books or online. The client can select the relevant territory and by area, size and duration of advert and can immediately obtain a quotation which includes multiple discounts, if applicable.

Checking the Delivers building in benefits
As we all know, one of the areas that can be problematical is checking to ensure that your books have been delivered to the correct addresses and on time. The Solihull & Warwickshire area office have come up with an innovative system for doing this, with the added benefits of supporting local charities and being recognised in the community for doing so.
We first advertised for ‘checkers’ in our Solihull & Warwickshire books. These are random people who receive delivery of the books across the area. They supply their email address and are contacted when the deliverer confirms the books have been delivered. We then receive the ‘yes’ and ‘no’ responses…good news on the affirmative, and opportunity to address issues on the negative.
For this service, the Solihull and Warwickshire office allocates £1 to a charity fund for each reply. This in turn, at the end of the year, after the checkers have had opportunity to nominate the charity of their choice, is then split and donated accordingly.
This year, it has resulted in the Solihull and Warwickshire team collecting £1,200.00, some of which has already been donated to various local charities. This is an excellent opportunity for you to monitor your business and at the same time, develop a standing in the local community whilst helping needy causes!
